Subtle imagery and a nice connection between the writers vocal and instrumentation. This “long-little” EP was recorded in Funkhaus, Berlin [Studio K4], the home to Seed Holden the pseudonym for Croatian singer / songwriter Ljudevit Ivic.

The author draws many similarities to Phosphorescence, this EP is very dreamy, soft and yet carries a strong undertone through the very rich-toned guitar bed.

Associations Pt.2, (the first track) is deep and powerful. Careening guitar cascades off the simple kit beat and Starflyer-esque, Jason Martin vocal; this track is fantastic. Track two appears to be less bold in its approach, however, the subtle and soulful notes played coming from trumpet player Matija Kovačić, brings the whole piece together and sets the tone for the next two rolling tracks, (Just) Almost and Long Little Noises…

Seed Holden has created a moody and powerful gem and suggests it may be best enjoyed before bed with headphones on. I agree.
