False God

Saint Mary by False God

It’s the thoughts of two lovers who have been separated for the search of a better life.Based on my grandparents immigration to Ireland from England after the second world war.

In which my grand father Thomas had to leave my grandmother behind to find work and be financially stable before she could arrive. The falsetto is based on my grandmothers thoughts. The lower vocals based on my grandfather. The song is called Saint Mary in honour of my Grand mother and thus the name of the ship in the song Thomas must take to cross over the Irish Sea to England.
