Bryde is the wonderfully talented singer/songwriter, Sarah Howells. Raised in an unassuming seaside town in Wales, Sarah moved to Hackney and began releasing some fantastic tunes. This track, shares the same spirit and energy from earlier works, as it explores a sense of death and rebirth that comes after a relationship ends.

“It’s about evolving after a past relationship and becoming gleefully unrecognisable to that person…”

I love the guitar tone in this track, it’s melodic and really rich. There is a gentle bit of dirt across the track that feels organic, more guttural, and honest. The chorus really kicks and brings the listener in line with Sarah’s obvious emotion and energy.
