A Place I Know by Tall Thief

I love the bold dynamics in this new single, A Place I Know by Tall Thief. This solo project from Quintin Weyer fuses a rich fuzz distortion sound and lush eclectic melody.

I love the complex dreamscape this song evokes. The guitar tone is warm and layered while vocally the track has this lowdown approach. The voicing is very distant in the mix and more psych-rock flavored, and a little akin to a band like MEW.

The song totally rocks and I look forward to hearing much more from Tall Thief in the near future.
