Love the meandering in the guitar, and Viktor’s melancholic vocal is quite defined. There are elements that stand out, the vocal is beautiful, the overall warm production and visceral elements that seamlessly cut in and through the production really make “A Sad Song” a cut above.
I think Viktor is really touching a bit of folklore in this haunting tune. The story portrayed through the lyrics is engaging, albeit a little slow moving, but I can’t stop thinking about the content, and where this is going. That’s really the ultimate goal to keep us engaged and Viktor pulls this off well.
If you are into a soft folky-vocal escapade, this is definitely the track for you.
