Moontricks have a great folky-roots vibe that gives lots of promise. The vocal is very sparse, but leaves an intense feeling. Accompanied by subtle phrasing that sticks in the listeners ear, this track has some great moodiness to it.
The percussion section is minimal but brooding. There is a really nice build that happens through out the song. The transitions are very original and the movement into a more synth laden track really catches the listener off guard.
I think they nailed the connection between the two. Very subtle but I can imagine something quite prolific on stage.
