Alone With You by Matthew Merchant

I love the driving feel in this track, “Alone With You by Matthew Merchant.” The song really pulls you down the highway with a balanced guitar-driven tone, really ambient softness in the leads, and ultimately a track that isn’t over the top or too demanding. The tone and swirling lead elements in the song build on the dynamic and add layers to an already energetic tune.

Matthew has a very comfortable style, it’s not really demanding attention, and the cadence is quite warm. There is a bit of dreaminess to the production especially throughout the chorus sections where Matthew showcases his falsetto and brings a bit of his sound closer to the audience.
