Appalachian Wine by Howl in the Valley

This is a great story, balanced with some eclectic instrumentation and y vocal layers. Songwriter Jonathan Stephens has migrated into a / trio that pulls him away from the pop-punk roots he has come over from.

This track was originally a tune from Jonathan Stephans early band, EleventySeven. The lyrics are great, especially considering it started out as a pop-punk tune. The rootsy vocal and lead guitar are we balanced and both vocalists have a great cadence with each other.
