Arcade by HAZY

Bedroom indie-pop artist, Hazy, has created a link between the nostalgia of early 90’s synth teen pop and contemporary production vocal tones. Arcade is a great example of the nuance found in his tracks.

Arcade pays homage to a seaside vacay, something many of us are fortunate enough to know well.

Speaking more on the track, HAZY explained: “I spent my early childhood in Southend on Sea, and in the holidays we would go up to North Yorkshire to another seaside town called Whitby. My mum was ill and having treatment and so my grandparents would look after me, my brother and sister. They’d take us down to the arcades and the beach. Although it was a tough time it was also the best of times, there’s nothing better than the love of grandparents and the British seaside. This is for everyone that’s ever dropped a penny in an arcade.”
