This is a lovely little melancholy track that points a stick in the anthill that is human nature. A testament to the way we seem to avoid responsibility for our mistakes and instead argue and build a defense. The instrumentation is rich, it’s a simple line up but everything is so well balanced in the mix, each little flare from the synths and moody guitar riffs are brilliantly played.

Vocally Tove has a delicate and calm delivery. I appreciate the softness in her cadence, there is both a lovely simplicity and a breathy delivery that really captures the imagination.

The guitars also need a big mention here. I am in love with this guitar tone and subtle power that lines the underbelly of the track. Combine that brash guitar with her subtle vocal, mix in the ambient spacey synth vibe and you really have something special.
