Beautiful Anyway by Judah & the Lion

This song was written in response to a friend’s depression, lead singer Judah Akers has penned a poetic and vibrant response to this polarizing affliction. “Beautiful Anyway” flows in a dynamic and interwoven sonnet of instrumental gold, with the patterned flow that denotes the passion and poise Judah & the Lion are know and so endeared for. The track is bold and breaks through the folky mire with some damn punchy guitars and a strong percussive backbone.

Lyrically this song is just so well written. The words are adaptable to almost anyone who has encountered or been around others distressed with depression. The verse moves fluidly into the choruses, anthemic breaks, and melodic hooks.
