Bird of Paradise by Andries

Energetic transient beats from Andries. Andreis is a musician and sound designer from Oak View California. Starting his run in music at Chico State University Andreis began his craft on FL Studio, playing around with hip hop and progressive electronic beats. A move to Japan, later saw Andreis move into the cinematic and sound design realm, working on his repertoire and building on his burgeoning career. 10+ years later Andreis has rekindled his passion for composition and returned to electronic music.

With influences such as Dan Deacon, Flying Lotus, Boards of Canada, Jean-Michel Jarre, Philip Glass, Lindstrom, and 80’s and 90’s video game music it’s no surprise that his sound is as eclectic and melodic as it is.

Andries has a uniquely cultured sound, that is creative and well balanced. There is a pulsing sense of connectedness to some of the old and new styles. The backbone is a dance beat, but this isn’t an ordinary dance or techno tune, this is where Andries’ unique approach really shines. There is a pop sensability to the song, and keeps the listener engaged in playful undertones.

Mastered by Wytse Gerichhausen at White Sea Studios, with original cover art by artist Yu Maeda, “Bird of Paradise” will be released on 05/15/2020!
