A melodic masterpiece in Japanese post-rock. Noh, an up and coming post-rock indie band from Japan has pulled out all the stops in this bold new song.
The intro hits quite hard, pulling you in a thousand directions like a staggering drunk on a busy street. Then, calm. There is a gentle moodiness building as the track carries you toward the edge of a ravine. You drop off the cliff and, rolling down, crash into rocks along the way… this tune is like that.
There are quite a few melodic and instrumental dynamics that update and progress as the track is played out. They share that the hope the song can be played out as a story that develops in your head. I think so.
This track will appeal to math-rockers and post-rock fans, there is a little something for everyone in here.
