Cinderella (Alternative Version ) with Ryan Hemsworth by Instupendo

Ahead of dripping a series of remixes from Instupendo’s lauded ’Boys by Girls’ EP, he’s releasing an alternative version of its warmly received first single, ‘Cinderella’, featuring stripped back vocals and an all-new instrumental by friend and Juno award-winning musical polymath Ryan Hemsworth (who’s worked with Mitski, Lana Del Rey, Joji, E-40 and 21 Savage, among others). It calls to mind early 2000’s pop-rock, with a mid-song guitar solo that’s “slightly scene, slightly emo.”

Stand out downtempo artist Instupendo’s distinctive dreamy, soundscapes transport listeners and have earned him an ardent following world-wide. Employing everything from hazy guitar interspersed with ambient sounds to delicate piano melodies punctuated with insistent percussion and echoing arpeggios, Instupendo’s euphorically melancholy tunes are the songs listeners say they turn to when they feel, or want to feel, a certain way. Listeners have turned to his catalog over 25 million times for feels on SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
