City Skies by Grids & Dots

This song captions the story of love in a new city when you least expect it. Accompanied by fantastic harmony and playful vocal symmetry between Daniel and Carmen Han-Minikus. This tune follows on the heels of the popular melodic shoegaze tune, The Great Divide, whereas City Skies has a bit of a tighter drive to it. The energy is still warm and melodic, bringing out my best awkward dance moves.

The track has a sensational guitar jangle that defines theshoegazeysound and is all together intrinsic to Grids & Dots. There is a nice bounce in the guitars and a sense of freedom coming out in the relaxed percussive playing of Gray Thomas.
