Kowloon’s vocal is painful in his delivery, not that it’s hard to hear (FAR FROM IT), it’s the longing in his tone that is palpable. This is a song that pushes into the lonliness we are all feeling, I think especially now in isolation. There is a call for the touch of another, the longing for anothers presence.

Instrumentally the track takes a left turn from the delicate longing in the vocal sound to a more danceable and pop drive. The tune is remarkable in it’s utter juxtaposition to each other.

Hailing from California, Kowloon is both a musician and filmmaker, who is making remarkable tunes like this from his home studio in L.A.
