Cycle of Belief by Picture One

Picture One has created an inspiring tune that embraces the questions and subsequent paths one embarks, ultimately finding a drivenness that forms our ultimate beliefs. This Atlanta based group is heralded by the frontman, Thomas Barnwell.

I am enjoying the eerie similarities to The Cure’s album Seventeen Seconds and other melancholic synth-laden 80’s pop tracks. The vocal is haunting and balances the steadiness of the backing percussion. This subtle dance-infused dark-wave track is chilly, brooding and lyrically complex; however, there is a softness in the vocal tone that I found really drew me into the magic of this track.
