Edge of my Bed by Kyle Huskey

Kyle’s vocal tone is very rich in this mellow track. Edge of my Bed is such a lonely hearts style tune, love lost, wishing for something that just isn’t there… it’s a poetic romp that showcases, the Chris Isaac style troubadour at his best.

The composition is subtle, features his vocal and a light guitar pairing. There are some other elements for interest and to build on that country rhythm. The song is really simple, but wonderful in that simplicity. It’s uncluttered and showcases Kyle’s rich vocal.

I wish I was drinking bourbon around a campfire while at the cottage on the lake, Kyle jammin’ out this tune on an old guitar while sitting in an old camp chair. The lot of us, those around the fire, just staring into the embers, daydreaming of one too many lost loves.
