I love the endearing vocal from Chicago’s Laik. This is an indie pop romp that parrallels the energy and attack found in contemporaries, Death Cab for Cutie.

A song about finding new love and looking into your past. The lyric is enchanting, vocally sincere, and passionate. The instrumentation is energetic and tangles around the percussive backbone that moves like a lion into this enlightened groove. I love the balance in the lead and rhythm parts, playing symbiotically. There is an organic feel over this track that makes the sound live and breathe around you.
