Faith featuring Alayna Bowen by Smalltalk

Alayna Bowen adds a haunting retro vibe to this earthy track. The guitar has a thick layer of chorus creating layers of sound, adorned with the jangle and whimsical play one expects in a track akin to Mazzy Star or the Cocteau Twins.

Smalltalk is the project of Andrew Keith, who continues to delve into the dreamy side of pop and indie psych. I think the complement of Alayna’s vocal just filled his sound out. Smalltalk has always had a great way of connecting with retro hip-hop flavors in his mix. Feels from his release in 2019, is a great jam that works on so many levels. This new release seems like something is brewing in Andrew’s musical journey; I’m really excited to see where that takes him.
