Fall by Kinships

Kinships build a space to retreat into, a space that becomes a home, and a sonic landscape that draws you out as it calls out to you. The electronics are diverse and layered. Stunning percussive gestures and rhythmic patterns are accented with a melancholy vocal that is as rich as the electronics that play into them. The vocal harmonies are deeply textured and intense, a joy to discover.

This release, Fall, is about escaping the busy-ness of the city, Fall is a song about escapism, and finding yourself in somebody else, by leaning into them and being reminded that love lives there.
