I love this brand of Shoegaze pop. Seattle band, The National Honor Society is collectively tapping into a sound that seems like a dream out of the 80’s. There are modern hooks and slight improvisations, but the lulling vocal and heartfelt lyrics are so relaxed you can’t help but fall into the groove.
The sound is full, big reverb, with great rhythm in the backing bass and percussion, the guitar has just the right amount of jangle yet powers through those lush melodies.
Look for there new album, To All the Glory We Never Had, this May.
