Frank and Joan by Joshua Tell

Joshua Tell has produced a wonderful, relational narrative that has vintage warmth wrapped all up in it. The eclectic vocalist is a whimsical storyteller, who has captured the mystery of relationship and poured it out to us in song.

I found the super 8 style film and vintage colour effects of the track to be almost hypnotic. The instrumentation is enchanting and draws the listener into the message. Slight jazz licks and bluesy bass accompany the minimalist percussion tones. Ultimately this is a nice grab a cup of tea and relax on the veranda kind of tune. Enjoy.
