Hidden Giants have created a brilliant track. Musically I am drawn to the simple guitar intro and subtle chord progressions. Lyrically and sonically the vocalist has a flair of Thom Yorke in his intonation and presence.
This track covers the story of a man looking for ways to punish himself for the love he ruined. Finding mystery and opportunity around the corner. It’s a brilliant story that is so relatable.
The percussion is engaging and nicely drives the keys and almost ambient guitar by the point the track is built out. I also find myself drawn to the melody in the chorus, it’s catchy but not overly produced and in your face. There is a simplicity to the track that speaks louder than words.
