Filiah, a lovely voiced 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Vienna, has enraptured me with her soft vocal delivery and poetic style. Her voice is drawing, there is longing amongst haunting swells that carry the listener into her story.

Releasing an upcoming concept album, drawn on the exploration of love, grief, nostalgia, and all that flourishes in between. This track “Goodbye” is the lead single and touches on the abandonment that comes after the sudden end of deep love. It moving, and memorable.

“This song is about me realizing that sometimes it doesn’t matter how great and infatuating a love is if the people involved just end up in these toxic patterns again and again.”

The track, along with the album, was recorded and produced in her living room, an ode to the simplicity and closeness that emanates through the songstress’s vocal delivery. Subtle strings and low movements entwine in the song’s instrumentation. This is a lovely song.
