Grown Man by Margot & The Midnight Tenants

Margot Bennett leads this dynamic power-pop ensemble, Margot & the Midnight Tenants, to new heights with their latest single, “Grown Man.”

This track moves effortlessly threw luscious melody and straight pop beats. Margot’s vocal is bold and gentle in the same breath. I absolutely adore the pace in the track; vocally the tune is a little underweight which gives the track a sense of space. The hooks, however, bounce off the walls, leading with lovely little hums, and poppy chorus elements that fill out the lyric and truly endear the song to the listener. Instrumentally, the band really drives the song as the percussive rhythm is so well balanced and plays off the vocal space giving room for the melody. This is truly fantastic work.
