Hide Your Eyes by The Francine Odysseys

So smooth, love this groove, little stargazing and some flow. I find the vocal is so complementary with the melodic synth sounds that add a spark among the driving back beat. They describe themeselves as having a wistful aesthetic, and I agree. There is definatly a playfulness and innocence that is embedded in the soft sounds; there is also a bit more.

The Francine Odysseys are a collab with Gretchen DeVault and Ian Patrick, both coming in after seeing some success in the indie pop scene. This track embodies the comfort of an old sweater while the soothing vocal warmth in the melody begs me to keep this on repeat for days. This is a great find.
