Hometown by JP Lancaster

An interesting track that recalls the memory of a suicide attempt. This track, Hometown, summarizes the trials and juxtaposition of life in middle Canada. The vocal is like a story, running an eloquent narrative that shares his experiences.

Hometown is subtle, instrumentally minimal, but there is plenty of emotion to go around. The melancholic tune is really balanced on the heels of Lancaster’s vocal, the guitar is really quaint and a poignant balance to his vocal warmth.
