A little on the folky side this track brings a nice compelling lead line and catchy melody to the table. StevieRay Latham has a smokey vocal, that brings out some comparisons to notable indie rockers, Kurt Vile, and the softer edge of Blake Mills. This tune is upbeat and driving, ultimately it’s an enjoyable ride.

The track was originally written on a 2 string guitar while backpacking through China; crazy! This is a poignant track, as the artist shares, that captures the heart of relationships in urban life as portrayed through the lens of big city isolation.

The guitar work is reminiscent of Neil Young, especially in thinking of his time with Crazy Horse. It delivers a wall of dirty guitars that is pure gold. There are some subtle breakdowns in the track that carry a similar vibe to The Beatles or other classic Brit Pop influence. Personally, I like the comparison to My Morning Jacket, and would personally love to see this paired alongside the band in a mixtape.
