London living, Irish born, Sean Murphy is the man behind The National Anthem. The National Anthem is creating brilliant tunes that channel a richly melodic, dystopian style that flows out into lush gardens of sound for the listener.

Icarus is a daunting tune that comes across with the stagger found in the likes of a Radiohead tune, or those bold enough to take a chance at creating something truly unique. The track uses Icarus failing as an analogy to a relationship failing. Beautiful songwriting, poetic in every way. The production is rich in the track and builds at each level of the mix throughout the arrangement.
