This track is moving, both emotionally, and rhythmically. I love this pair, harp and vocal. våra’s tenderness is reflected in her lyric, as her voice moves in and out of desire and longing in the lyric. There seems to be a freedom in the vocal, an intensity, and passion that really can’t be denied.

The subtle percussion is so well balanced in the mix, it builds almost cinematically. I suppose I’ve often seen the harp as a misunderstood instrument, one that can hold so much presence, it can be soft, and sensitive, and yet seemingly bottle up this latent energy. I think this plays out so powerfully throughout the chorus.
