Memory by Orion

Memory is the second single from Irish-born and raised, Berlin based independent artist ORIAN;

Memory is ORIAN’s call to all the broken hearted, dealing with themes of resilience and acceptance that come with the ending of any human relationships.

After independently releasing his debut single Tryin’ in May 2019, achieving great support from Irish radio stations such as RTE Radio One, BBC Ulster, RED FM, BEAT 102103, KCLR, Dublin City FM and Shannonside, as well as support from Radio Eins and Fritz Radio in Germany; ORIAN has again teamed up with Irish producer Ciaran O’Shea (Chester Bennington) of Whitewell Studios to create Memory; the second release from the forth-coming 2020 debut album. A strong and honest follow up to his first release, which has to date reached over 60,000 streams on Spotify, and is still climbing.

With Tryin’  ORIAN wanted to introduce the world to his sound, and now with Memory, wants to showcase another side to the indie pop songwriter; a sensitive and honest vocal, combined with a powerful synth and guitar laden groove that sticks in your head.

With influences ranging from The National to Bon Iver; Hozier to John Mayer; ORIAN is guitar melody-based, atmospheric pop; with strong, catchy vocal toplines. After spending the last year touring Europe with bands such as Bastille, George Ezra and Jet, ORIAN will be releasing his debut EP in november 2019, followed up by a nationwide German Tour in early 2020 before the release of the full length debut later in the year.
