Gus Miller has the voice of a younger Hank Williams and a marketable spirit of Willie. This tune covers the ground around nostalgic loneliness and a feeling of homesickness. This really flows in the flavour of some tight vintage outlaw country, the guitar is loose and vocally there is a nice drawl. Gus has been able to perform with quite a few contemporaries, and it shows as he brings elements of Waylon and Gram parsons into his delivery.
