Never Change by Grids and Dots

Sydney dreampop/shoegazers Grids and Dots have a sublime new track, “Never Change.”

This tune cascades between the innercity lives of band members. Songwriter, Daniel Handaru has pulled together an emotionally gritty track that really features a little love and loss along with the melancholy delivery.

I love this 80s synth sound. This carries a little of the same cadence that some of the upbeat pop tunes like “Friday I’m In Love” by The Cure delivered in its day. I am eagerly waiting to hear a few more tunes by this up and coming band.
