Perpetual Contemplation Of An Infinite Glory by Beatific

This song is about inter-generational trauma from the Holocaust. The German sound bite is Hitler’s rise to power speech and the song title is a line from Victor Frankel’s “Man’s Search For Meaning.” The themes are of addiction due to trauma, the daily grind, love, getting high, bringing back an answer from the ‘high place’ (partially the thought behind the band name – that beatific place from drugs, religion, meditation, altered states), and finally, the kiss of death.
