Revolver Records is releasing a new track from Mashmellow, the Moscow based shoegaze/indie-pop band. I really appreciated the vocal in this track. It was a great blend with the distorted guitars and really complemented the rolling bass lines. I also found a lot of similarities with Mashmellow and some older contemporaries like Morella’s Forest and Bon Voyage.

Masha Shurygina and Egor Berdnikov met in Moscow in 2018 and have since combined to create some stellar 90’s esque pop rock that translates beyond borders. Masha brings a history of acoustic performances in the Vladivostok area, and some of that intrinsic storytelling can be gleamed in the production of this latest pop release by the duo.
