Slow Drive by Moon Panda

So laid back, just an honest groove, that you relax into and move along with. Moon Panda has taken this groove and laid on some hot poetic vocal, and a gazey lead guitar to make the perfect recording. The track is featured on the new EP, Make Well, released earlier this year.

Moon Panda is Californian songwriter/bassist Maddy Myers along with guitarist Gustav Moltke. This collaboration is producing some amazing work. The couple is receiving extensive airplay on multiple channels across continents.

“All in all it’s about healing, both together and by ourselves. It’s been the toughest year yet. But we’ve been together, and that’s something.”

Maddy Myers

Moon Panda have shared laid back, woozy new single ‘Slow Drive’ taken from their dreamy new EP ‘Make Well’, released on the aptly named Fierce Panda Records, of course two pandas are always better one. The track has received extensive airplay on BBC 6 Music with Lauren Laverne declaring the track her ‘favourite release of the year so far…top of the pile for me’  as well as receiving global airplay from stations in New York, Canada, California, Poland, Greece, Australia, Mexico and even Macedonia.

For Moon Panda (Californian songwriter/bassist Maddy Myers and Danish guitarist Gustav Moltke), 2020 is a year when honesty has become inescapable. At first their instinct had been to try and separate their relationship from their music, but now the pair are being open about the inextricable link between their marriage and their work as Moon Panda. The ‘MAKE WELL’ EPsees them reflect on where they are, what has happened along the way, and what needs to happen before they can look towards the future.
