I adore the Elliott Smith vocal vibe, in accompaniment with some moody dream-pop guitars. The ambiance that the track initiates is instantly enveloped into a shoegaze wall of sound around the one minute mark. The production is great, there is space in the mix, and enough energy in the delivery to rival its contemporaries.
I believe the song is a narrative on parenthood, and moving across the country during a pandemic… we have all had some crazy stories to tell this year.
