Spring Guns by Calamar

A great bedroom recording while in lockdown from Mexico City’s, Calamar. The vocal is rich, a great mellow track, the tone is thick, and lyrically honest. I love the pace of this song. The subtle guitar is well balanced with the percussive backbeat and crafty secondary guitar lines.

The video itself really does pay homage to the apartment, a sense of loneliness and feelings of self-discovery seem to emanate from the lull in the visuals. Personally, I think the colorization and minimalist accents really define this song. Brilliant.
