Morning Eagle has a grungey beach rock sound that transcends some of the 90s California alt-rock bands like Lassie Foundation or Starflyer 59. I am taken away by this swirl of guitars and thick tube tone that soaks into the heart of the song. This definitely has a lo-fi alt-rock approach. I love it!
Morning Eagle is the project of producer Nick May; his work has been heard on bands like Breaklite and the Valets. Nick brings his Philly sound to California to release this 4 sound ep Slide. Ultimately planning to release new material throughout 2021.
