Thanks by Yakima

Such a bold and subtle groove in this track. I love the 90’s alt vibe that careens through the intro and into the first phrases of the verse. Yakima has a beautiful melancholic sound. Richly produced with a basement tape sound. The vocals are mellow and are accentuated with the rich guitar riffs.

There are some nice dynamics in the chorus, big guitar breakdown’s and tight drum sounds. Lyrically this track really washes over you, at first listen you are carried away with the vocalist. This is a track filled with longing and abbreviated perseverance.
