That Siren, Hope by Kris Angelis

Such a poetic tune. The vocalist paints a lovely picture of love, knowledge, and desire that ultimately leaves the listener cascading down into an emotional abyss. The tune is about betrayal, and it comes through the vocal and the instrumentation equally. The depth in the accompanying cello is wicked, wrenching the vocal narrative. However dark the track pulls, the presence of hope shines through in the listless guitar and balanced melody that pulls at the 3-minute mark.
