My fire is starved of oxygen… lovely, sincere, haunting, this is the poetry and work of Seattle’s Brian Fennel, aka SYML. A storyteller that has more passion in his little toe than most of his contemporaries. This track, The Dark, is eerily similar to Jeff Buckley, in form, composition, and his vocal exploration. And I love it. Very rarely are artists able to pull off that sort of passion and delivery. His falsetto and the grittiness in the low end of his range are inspiring.

This track had contributions from Brian Eichelberger, Kyle Ryan, James Mcalister, and Kyle Resnick. The tune was mixed by Joe Visciano.
