The Details by Zooni

The Details opens with a more whimsical style, that quickly plays into a didactic foray of sonic transition and moody instrumentation.

Zooni is an eclectic art-pop band from Brighton. The new tune, The Details, opens with a more whimsical style, that quickly plays into a didactic foray of sonic transition and moody instrumentation. The sound shares space with indie staples in the power and instrumentation. I was also enjoying the movement in the vocals, there was a meandering that caught me of guard and really harmonized so well with the instrumentation.

This single is a follow up to their last release “Dissolve, which brought them some success and attention. That track was nothing short of spectacular, now add The Details, and hear the band introduce more control of the ambient space. Building rich texture while really digging in with the thickness and slight aggressive fuzz in the guitar tone. This track really stands out as the track moves into the wider chorus sections.

Zooni is hoping and currently planning on the following concerts to fill out the year:

  • 18/09/20 Heartbreakers, Southampton
  • 02/10/20 Sebright Arms, London
  • 18/10/20 Hit The North
  • 19/10/20 Poetry Arms, Glasgow
  • 20/10/20 Fulford Arms, York
  • 28/10/20 Live At Leeds
  • 29/11/20 Various Circles Festival (Birmingham)
