I love the band’s big dynamic soundscape and the intricacy in emotion that permeates the track. I find the guitar floats with a nice bite, cutty into the rhythmic undertones of the track. The vocalist is “just” there, a minimalist approach that offers more in the way of a haunting interlude than poignant phrasing. Perhaps a bit similar to Appleseed Cast in that way.
This is a big anthemic track that builds and layers and feels way more than speaks.
