The talented Blush FM is joining the Village and we couldn’t be more excited. Here with her newest offering “Move,” Blush FM gifts us with this stunning slow-burner that’ll have you second-guessing all your relationships.
Hushed, powerful vocals swirl above pulsing synths and dreamy violin while earnest lyrics paint the story of a love doomed for failure. She cries, “I can’t do what you want me to do, I don’t know how to move that way. You don’t see who I wanna be, I only need to see that way.” In this reflective tell-all, Blush FM breaks down her walls to honor her personal truth.
On the single, she says, “‘Move’ deals with allowing one’s self the space to develop their own integrity. It was written in a moment of time where I’d began to explore my judgment and instincts more thoughtfully. ‘Move’ encapsulated that trust in myself, while acknowledging that it doesn’t look the same on everyone.”
The New York-based artist is a stunner through and through. Nurturing a space without borders, Blush FM has created her own genre of pop-adjacent music that’s unconfined and limitless. Her recently released “Glistening” was the first introduction to her forthcoming EP, due out this fall. Blush FM’s unique sound of dark, alt-pop is instantly memorable.
Not quite new to the scene, Blush FM was previously Midas who had opening slots for notable artists Bob Moses and Porches. You can catch Blush FM this fall opening for Mustardmind at Baby’s All Right, 10/27.
