I love this Hazard, Kentucky post-punk/garage-rock band. The vocal delivery is so dynamic. There is definitely some eccentric style to the two-piece band. You can hear some comparisons to 90’s shoegaze (My Bloody Valentine), as well as this crooner vocal, that really identifies the tune. Not being lost on them is that twngy rock guitar that flexes it’s grit through out the track.
The guitar is both dreamy and noisy, I get this ebb and flow to the song that is built on disruption. Being that the song is an homage to a broken, toxic relationship, this fits. I also think that given the minimalist instrumentation, the band plays well dynamically, really getting everything out of their instruments and the vocal.
