For sure you can build on the influence of Interpol and more eclectic visionaries in this genre Joy Division, however, Sirens is a brilliant approach and culmination of some rather tight songwriting.
I quite enjoy the melodic swarming electric guitar riffs and the comfort that builds in the accompanying vocal lines in the chorus. There is a lovely balance in the instrumentation and a clean and defined mix amongst the rhythm in the tune.
