David Bazan (Pedro the Lion) is headlining a supergroup of rockers from the likes of Starflyer 59, Velour 100. Jason Martin’s signature Starflyer guitar sound rolls through the album, while Bezan’s vocals are a perfect match to this heavy surf rock. The album showcases the connection and freedom these friends have with each other. Bubblegum is such a fantastic example of the compliment Martin and Bezan have with each other. Overall this album is big, energetic and contagious. This is as much fun to listen to as I’m sure it was to create.
