The tone from the opening riff is ripe with emotion and presence. Lyrically the track is energetic, and complementary to the creativity in the instrumentation. With the band’s beginnings in 2017, this Las Vegas hardcore band is hitting its stride. Their new single, “Flambo” is a showcase of the lucid guitar work and big, punchy low-end.
I also love the description of the tune by the band: “This song is ultimately about that 70’s show when Eric wanted to get rid of all his memories of Donna when they broke up but in the end decided to keep them.” I think this attests to the ingenious playfulness in the band. Besides, who doesn’t connect with that?
Stay tuned for the upcoming album release “Humanity” spring 2021.
